Looking for a fun, turn-key way to make some money for your school or non-profit organization?  Host a McDonald’s McTakeover! 

 

During each two-hour McTakeover, held one Wednesday each month*, 6-8 volunteers help “work” at McDonald’s. Host groups promote the event, inviting members and supporters to dine at McDonald’s during their McTakeover. A McDonald’s McTakeover coupon book, filled with 10 “buy-one-get-one” coupons ($34+ value) can also be sold by schools/organizations to raise additional money. The group receives 40 percent of food and coupon book sales, and an additional 10% is donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Western Washington & Alaska .   *McTakeovers are not held in July and August.

  • Call our Silverdale Office at 360-337-1278 to have an application mailed or faxed to your attention. (Sorry, applications cannot be accepted via e-mail unless you print and scan the PDF.)
  • All schools and organizations must submit a new application each year to insure accurate contact information and interest. Thank you.

Note: We are currently scheduling June through December 2012. Remember all groups must re-apply each year for McTakeovers. Premium dates still available for Sequim, Port Townsend, Belfair, Poulsbo and Bainbridge Island McDonald’s locations. 2013 applications will be accepted beginning August 1, 2012.

Applications are not available at McDonald’s restaurants and completed applications must be submitted to the McDonald’s office. They cannot be turned in at McDonald’s restaurants.

Some important McTakeover reminders:

  • Groups are eligible for one McTakeover per calendar year.

  • An application does not guarantee your group a McTakeover due to the high volume of requests received. Groups must reapply each year and a past McTakeover does not guarantee you a McTakeover every year.

  • McTakeovers are for schools, school groups and non-profit (501c3) organizations. Priority will be given to schools and school groups.

  • McTakeovers are held one Wednesday per month in participating restaurants, usually the second Wednesday of the month. McTakeovers are not held in July and August.

  • Funds raised must remain local and/or benefit the local community.
  • Due to the number of teams and events in the area, we cannot offer McTakeovers to individual groups raising money for fundraising events such as Relay for Life, Alzheimer’s Walk, the Breast Cancer 3-Day, etc.
  • Groups will be responsible for promoting their McTakeover and must provide 6-8 volunteers.
  • We are scheduling McTakeovers for 2012. Please remember to include both first and second choice on dates and location.
  • If a group is selected to host a McTakeover, the applicant will receive a confirmation letter via outlining details of the event.   • We receive approximately 300+ McTakeover applications per year so please be patient! If you submit an application we will get in touch with you ASAP.
